Rudi has been an outstanding mentor throughout my development in implant dentistry. His extensive depth of knowledge, paired with his calm and approachable nature, creates an ideal learning environment in what can sometimes be a very challenging area of dentistry! He is always very generous with his time, offering valuable insight into case planning, surgical techniques and management of complications. His support has played a key role in refining my skills and building my confidence, and I truly appreciate the guidance he has provided.

Mitesh was introduced to me by a very good friend who had been lucky enough to have his guidance and mentorship. I started working with Mitesh in order to gain confidence and experience in respect of placing implants in my own practice following completion of my MSc in Dental Implantology in 2021.

Mitesh is a very talented and approachable clinician with a proven track record of exceptional work in the field of Dental Implantology. Mitesh is extremely well respected by patients and colleagues alike. I chose to ask Mitesh to help me on my implant journey to boost my confidence and improve my knowledge skills. As a clinical mentor, Mitesh goes above and beyond what is expected. He is actively committed in supporting you throughout the entire treatment plan journey, especially in respect to case selection and planning stages.

I was feeling nervous and anxious when considering placing implants in my own practice following completion of my academic training with the University of Bristol and did not really know who to turn to for support and reassurance. However, with Mitesh’s vast experience and relaxed approach, the process was much more comfortable for myself and my patients.

After doing a few cases now with Mitesh, I already feel that I am more confident and comfortable when having implant related treatment planning discussions with patients and feel that in time I will be confident to place implants more independently.

Mitesh is very flexible in his style of mentorship. He is always there to support and assist but equally allows me to take the lead with the treatment as though he were not present, but always with the safety net that he is there to lend a hand should I need it. With more complex treatments, I am able to assist Mitesh and learn from the experience by observation which is also very valuable. Overall, he will adapt to your needs and expectations, which will make you comfortable during the entire process.

If I had to sum up everything in one sentence, I would say: Mitesh is so much more than a mentor, he is a good friend who is always on hand to support you all the way through your implant treatment plans and beyond.

I have been practicing Dentistry in the UK since 2010 and I met Dr. Mitesh Badiani in 2011. I have worked as one of his associates and he has inspired me to pursue a career in Implant Dentistry. Consequently, I have enrolled in the Msc of Implant Dentistry at Warwick University which I completed at the end of 2016.

I was very fortunate to have such a humble, good character and caring mentor through all my degree. He has taught me all the valuable clinical skills I required to pursue my career but most importantly he has always been there when I needed, whether it meant driving all the way from his home to come and help me completing more challenging treatments or whether it was a simple phone call for advice. He has always been available with no exception, always positive and always very sharp with his advice. I cannot express enough my gratitude for having such a caring person looking over me.

His clinical skills, knowledge, patient management are extremely proficient and lucky of those who can learn from him. A good clinician is not necessarily a good mentor the same way a good surgeon may not be a good teacher, although Dr. Badiani is both. Dr. Badiani was an inspiration for my career and still is.

I can certify that Dr. Badiani fulfills in all dimensions the meaning of being a mentor. In the difficult moments he was there to tell me I could do it; when I thought I couldn’t do it he made sure I did it and when I thought I could do it all he was honest enough to tell me I still had a lot to learn.

Regarding his personal skills he is a very sociable individual which interacts quite easily with his peers. Moreover, he has a strong sense of humanity being actively involved in voluntary work in Africa.

I have no hesitation in supporting Dr. Mitesh Badiani as a lead mentor and career development influencer of many Dentists throughout the UK and I cannot express more my gratitude of being one the lucky ones to have him as my mentor!

I first made contact with Mitesh back in 2012 when I completed my implant training at The Eastman Dental School in London. Initially he agreed to mentor me for the 10 cases the GDC required. This involved talking through cases prior to placements and also being present when I placed the implants. Having his extensive knowledge was both essential to fill the blanks and was also a great comfort. Following those cases, he kindly allowed me to continue to tap in to his knowledge on an ad hoc basis which even now, 11 years later, I still do from time to time. Initially most of the placements were continued under his supervision. Now that my experience and confidence has grown, I don’t find myself needing as much hand holding as previously. However knowing he is always happy to help and advice when I require gives me great comfort and is reassuring. I wouldn’t have managed to progress in this area of dentistry without Mitesh. Thank you.

Dr Jatin had been an amazing teacher and mentor during my implant journey. I have worked with him for a couple years now and he is a very knowledgeable and patient mentor. He makes the time to go through cases, always happy for me to shadow him on his complex cases and even mentor in person if need be. I would highly recommend him as a teacher and any mentee would privileged to learn from him.

Mentorship from Dr Desai at Implantwise has given me the skills and confidence to be able to place dental implants. I was able to make the daunting leap from learning about implants to actually placing them, in a safe and supported environment. Having a mentor with a wealth of knowledge and experience has been essential for my development in implant dentistry.
